Since the General Assembly began the 2023 legislative session on Wednesday January 4, 2023, more than 2,300 bills have been filed. PSRS/PEERS is currently tracking 256 pieces of legislation. The 2023 legislative session ends on Friday May 12.

Contribution Rates Unchanged for 2023-2024 School Year
At the October 24, 2022 PSRS/PEERS Board of Trustees meeting, the Board voted to maintain PSRS and PEERS active member and employer contribution rates at their current levels for the upcoming school year. The 2023-2024 school year runs from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
PSRS and PEERS Receive National Public Pension Standards Awards for Funding and Administration
PSRS and PEERS received the Public Pension Coordinating Council's (PPCC) 2022 Public Pension Standards Awards for meeting professional standards in plan funding and administration.
