PSRS/PEERS Board of Trustees Named Finalist for Fiduciary of the Year

PSRS/PEERS board named one of 2025 Randy Kim Award finalist

The Board of Trustees for the Public School & Education Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri (PSRS/PEERS) has been named a finalist for another national award — this time for the 2025 Randy Kim Prize for Fiduciary of the Year, presented by The Allocator. This recognition honors the board’s exemplary leadership and commitment to sound governance.

Nominators praised the PSRS/PEERS seven-member Board of Trustees for being a national standard in public pension governance. One nominator said, "They set the model for what good governance in public pension administration looks like." Another nominator cited the organization’s "world-class" governance structure and consistent top-quartile investment returns that have benefitted hundreds of thousands of members.

"Our trustees are deeply committed to transparency, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making," said PSRS/PEERS Executive Director Dearld Snider. "This honor affirms that our approach is not only working—it’s being recognized as a standard of excellence."

This honor marks the second national recognition for PSRS/PEERS in 2025. In May, the Board of Trustees was named a finalist for Institutional Investor’s Award for Leadership and Vision. Winners of the 2025 Allocator Prizes will be announced in October.
