Lexi Bonnot was named Incoming Director of Internal Audit in October 2026. She will work closely with the current director, Jeff Hyman, until his retirement in April 2027. She provides independent, objective assurance of internal controls, as well as consulting services that add value and improve the organization's operations.

Ms. Bonnot joined PSRS/PEERS as an Internal Auditor in October 2022. She brings a strong background in accounting and business, along with audit experience across multiple industries. She holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from Missouri State University in Springfield. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
