Jake Woratzeck was named PSRS/PEERS Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in November 2024. As the CISO, he is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's cybersecurity strategy, policies, and initiatives to protect critical data and infrastructure from cyber threats and disruptions.

Mr. Woratzeck began his career at PSRS/PEERS in 2018 and has held several cybersecurity roles. Before his current position, he was the Cybersecurity Manager, overseeing the daily operations of the organization's cybersecurity team.

Mr. Woratzeck holds a master's degree in cybersecurity from New York University, where he was awarded a fellowship, and a bachelor's degree in information technology from the University of Missouri.
