Applying for Service Retirement

You must apply for service retirement benefits before your PSRS retirement date. You can file the Service Retirement Application and other required forms with our office, or you can apply online by logging in to Web Member Services. We recommend that you file at least three months before your retirement date. We will acknowledge receipt of your application.

Applying for Service Retirement Online

You can login to Web Member Services to apply for retirement online. Applying online is a nine-step process. Each step you complete is saved, and you can exit and return to the next step at any time. The status of your in-process application will show on your Web Member Services home page.

You will be required to enter information regarding the retirement date and benefit plan you wish to choose, your desired beneficiaries, income tax withholding and direct deposit information. Before you start your online application, you will see a list of information you should have available to best complete the process.

Once you have submitted your online application, we will acknowledge receipt of your application and also notify you of any other documentation we may need to complete the service retirement process.
