If you die while receiving PEERS disability benefits, the benefit payment for the month of your death is payable. Your beneficiary, if eligible, may be entitled to lifetime PEERS monthly payments under the Option 2 benefit plan or a lump sum payment of any remaining balance of your contributions and interest.
